When Rosie was born she was lucky enough to have one set of great grandparents and two sets of grandparents. Her great grandparents also lived in Aldridge and we would often walk round to visit them or wave hello when walking to and from school.

In 1996 Karen's sister Sue got married, Rosie was a bridesmaid, which was a big highlight in her life and Alex a pageboy (not quite such a highlight!) In 1997 Sue gave birth to Benjamin, Rosie was 12 years old and in her element. She would help with all the tasks involved with looking after a baby and loved pushing the pram around.
