Karen and Sean (Rosie's mother and father) met when they were 16 and 17 at the local Disco.

Karen's family the Slocombe's moved to Aldridge when she was 4 years old and she attended Leighswood Infants and Junior School then Tynings Lane Secondary School.

Sean was brought up in Willenhall and attended a number of different schools in the area before finishing at St Thomas Moore.

Karen and Sean got married in 1982 and bought a house in Aldridge.

Rosie was born in 1985 followed by Alex in 1987.
