Rosie’s Friends
Rosie had many friends of all ages, gender and race. Her unaffected manner made it easy for Rosie to communicate with anyone and everyone and her friendly smile was the only encouragement some people needed to start chatting to her.

Often she would come home from a shopping trip saying how she had been chatting to 'this person' on the bus about mobile phones.
This would cause us some concern, but Rosie would laugh and say 'Mom, I'm a good judge of character, it's OK.'

As the years went by Rosie became more of an 'Agony Aunt' the phone would be engaged for hours whilst Rosie tried to sort out problems, listen to worries and inevitably it would end up with shrieks of laughter and a happier friend on the end of the line!

Rosie was my daughter - she was also my best friend. She was a sister to Alex but also his best friend. With Rosie on your side nothing seemed quite so bad she was our little ray of sunshine.
