It's too easy to confuse a long life with a full life. Rosie's life has been cut cruelly short - but that does not mean she did not have a full life. It certainly does not mean her life has been wasted. Plenty of people live to a ripe old age without affecting as many people in such a positive way as Rosie had done.

So many tributes have been paid to Rosie. There have been dozens of bunches of flowers in Centenary Square, each bunch with a note from a friend. It has been a humbling experience for those of us heo have read them. Many of the cards that have been sent to Rosie's mum and dad and brother have spoken of Rosie in a way that gives us a glimpse of the light she brought into people's lives.
